Our pre-start costings have come back, and we think we will be out of pocket approximately $40,000. Time to go through the list and cull the stuff we don't need.
Air-conditioning the house was a whopping $10,000, but I don't think we have a choice if we want to survive our next summer.
And I am trying to get external quotes for painting the house and possibly tiling the kitchen too.
We had to go shopping for another rangehood as well, as the builder can't get the one we want.
Choices, choices, choices. Time to run through the list in detail...
